We all know that Warner Brothers is waiting to see how well Man of Steel does in the box office before pulling the trigger on their Justice League project, but another information surfaced recently about who could possibly helm the potentially bank breaking film: Zack Snyder. It really doesn’t come as a surprise to hear his name being in consideration, but I think this pretty much kills off all rumors of Christopher Nolan being up for that task, not that anybody was holding their breath or anything. While not as explosive or block buster shattering as it was last year, we’re still getting a good solid crop of comic book adaptations coming out soon, starting with Iron Man 3. So which movie are you anticipating the most? Are you on board with Tony Stark and his legion of armors or are you excited for Superman’s second cinematic brawl against his fellow Kryptonian, Zod? Perhaps you’re itching for that ultra violent ass kicking that Kick-Ass 2 is sure to deliver or are you eagerly waiting for the Ernest-esque Wolverine’s vacation to Japan? What about a true sequel to Sin City that we’ve all been waiting for for the last decade? Are you excited for Thor and Loki’s team up in Thor: The Dark World more than Bruce Willis and John Malkovich’s team up in Red 2?

A new trailer was released a day ago, but I just got around to watching it…and it is magnificent. This new trailer gives us a glimpse into its story structure a bit more than the previous ones and we get a few more frames of action to see how this new Superman stacks up. Michael Shannon doesn’t have the greatest hair cut in this picture, but boy does he fill out that metal armor! Recently, there’s been a few more revealing pictures for Man of Steel, but it’s been far too long since we got any new footage from the film.
And now, in the long standing tradition of DC viral marketing campaign, they released a static clip of Zod threatening the humans to present them with Kal-El, a former native of Krypton and our featured super hero. Continue Reading
By now, most of us have read about the success of Veronica Mars Movie Kickstarter project. Their asking price for the movie budget was two million, but they have hit well over that within record setting days. It’s been a long time coming since we’ve heard what little information that trickled down from Warner Brothers about a possible Veronica Mars related project, and we’re finally here. This also sets precedence for what is possible within the ever-changing landscape of TV/movie production, seeing as how viable approaching the fans for support has become. Continue Reading
According to Latino Review, Christopher Nolan has been given full creative control over their Justice League franchise and WB wants the entire thing set in the same universe as “The Dark Knight” trilogy. If this is to be believed, then they’re no longer rebooting Batman (meaning it is absolutely possible that Christian Bale would reprise his role), but this wasn’t necessarily the approach they had in mind from the start. Amy Adams was recently on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to talk about her role in The Master (which she got an Oscar nod for) and they move the discussion along to her playing Lois Lane in the upcoming Zack Snyder helmed Man of Steel. She talks about how much she wanted to be Lois Lane (not to play her character, but to actually BE her) ever since she’s been exposed to Richard Donnor’s Superman movies. Continue Reading
