We all know that Warner Brothers is waiting to see how well Man of Steel does in the box office before pulling the trigger on their Justice League project, but another information surfaced recently about who could possibly helm the potentially bank breaking film: Zack Snyder. It really doesn’t come as a surprise to hear his name being in consideration, but I think this pretty much kills off all rumors of Christopher Nolan being up for that task, not that anybody was holding their breath or anything. A new trailer was released a day ago, but I just got around to watching it…and it is magnificent. This new trailer gives us a glimpse into its story structure a bit more than the previous ones and we get a few more frames of action to see how this new Superman stacks up. Michael Shannon doesn’t have the greatest hair cut in this picture, but boy does he fill out that metal armor! Recently, there’s been a few more revealing pictures for Man of Steel, but it’s been far too long since we got any new footage from the film.

Then today, it’s been reported by Badass Digest that Warner Brothers has tossed out the script that Will Beall (Gangster Squad) had written for the movie. Multiple sources (I hate saying that phrase) have confirmed that it was “terrible” and many are wondering whether there’s any hope of this film making it past pre-production. Continue Reading
So according to a report from Variety, the possibility of a “Justice League” movie will hinge on the big man’s success at the box office. While this is not surprising, I’m wondering if that means that they’ll forgo any ties to the team-up in “Man of Steel,” kind of like “The Avengers” initiative scene from the first Iron Man movie.
