While not as explosive or block buster shattering as it was last year, we’re still getting a good solid crop of comic book adaptations coming out soon, starting with Iron Man 3. So which movie are you anticipating the most? Are you on board with Tony Stark and his legion of armors or are you excited for Superman’s second cinematic brawl against his fellow Kryptonian, Zod? Perhaps you’re itching for that ultra violent ass kicking that Kick-Ass 2 is sure to deliver or are you eagerly waiting for the Ernest-esque Wolverine’s vacation to Japan? What about a true sequel to Sin City that we’ve all been waiting for for the last decade? Are you excited for Thor and Loki’s team up in Thor: The Dark World more than Bruce Willis and John Malkovich’s team up in Red 2?

Have you ever wondered, “Gee, what am I going to wear today?” Well, I suspect super heroes wonder the same thing every single moment. Sam Mendes is the director responsible for breathing life back into the Bond franchise by modernizing its tone and humanizing its characters. I know some people have their gripes about this new rendition, but breaking the character down from the archetype it used to be is groundbreaking for the franchise. Continue Reading
This is yet another third dark chapter in which the hero falls, only to rise again in order to save those in need. But it appears Tony will be rising in fashion, bringing his posse of older generation of Iron Men armors (he goes through armors quicker than most of us go through smart phones) and working in tandem with Rhodey, his patriotic better half. Many have been rumored to take the role of Star-Lord (John Krasinski, Michael Rosenbaum, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zachary Levi, etc.), the man who commands a team of strange and formidable aliens to protect the galaxy, but one actor was able to rise above them all. Continue Reading
I don’t think I ever did a write up for Iron Man 3 before, but I’m glad I finally got an opportunity to use that sick image of Tony Stark falling to his demise. Anyway, we had a chance to look at some of our most anticipated movies this summer in the form of new trailers…and Marvel played us for fools. They gave us a fifteen second teaser at what appeared to be Tony saving people from a plane crash and asked us to go on-line for the full preview. Continue Reading
