We’ve heard multiple times in the past from Jamie Foxx that his costume will lack the flair of the comic book iteration in favor of realistic realism of the real kind. While I would have admired him for donning the Jamaican national colors and a Carl’s Junior logo on his face (for endorsement purposes because bad guys gotta eat, too), I think I would have been in the minority for that. It’s a tough market out there for people who want things that are so amazingly
lame that it’s awesome. Continue Reading
We’ve been getting a constant stream of new pictures from the set thanks to New York natives (being that most of the movie is being shot there) and director Marc Webb’s penchant for tweeting everything Spiderman, so as not to lose in the war of comic book hype against Bryan Singer. They’ve revealed the new Spidey outfit, Mary Jane Watson, and some voyeuristic “through the tree banches” shot of some of the scenes and now this new photo shows us another key location from the Marvel universe. Norman Osborn was teased throughout the first film of the new reboot as a man in desperation for a cure. We never actually got to see his face and we’re not even sure if that shadow at the end of the film was supposed to be him. But today, Variety reported that we’ll be able to meet the man in person, played by Oscar award winner Chris Cooper (American Beauty, Bourne Identity, Capote, Jarhead).
A week ago, Marc Webb tweeted a short test footage of what Spiderman’s new lenses would look like. Today, he gave us a look at what his costume will look like (with the lenses incorporated!!!!!) in the sequel so that the fans could salivate, while the toy people could get to start producing some collectible busts for the new Spidey flick. Marc Webb released a cryptic looking video test footage recently that made it onto Youtube. The clip shows what appears to be the new Spiderman lenses being used for the sequel and they’re bigger, no longer solid and have honeycomb-like holes pierced through them. I guess Spidey finally realized that only jerks wear sunglasses at night. Continue Reading
We’ve heard some crazy casting decisions being made for this movie and now we finally get to read how they’ll all mesh together in the story. Although it’s been confirmed that Paul Giamatti will be involved in the production, they have yet to specify his role so bear that in mind as you read through the official synopsis. Continue Reading
If you’ve been following Zombieland since its inception, then you’ll remember that this project first began as a pilot for a zombie television series. Then things happened and it became a movie, and since then The Walking Dead rose to prominence as the first zombie apocalypse series on TV. Doesn’t hurt that it’s adapted from an awesome source either. Continue Reading
