A new trailer was released a day ago, but I just got around to watching it…and it is magnificent. This new trailer gives us a glimpse into its story structure a bit more than the previous ones and we get a few more frames of action to see how this new Superman stacks up. Needless to say, he moves and tears through things like the last son of Krypton should. Continue Reading
Michael Shannon doesn’t have the greatest hair cut in this picture, but boy does he fill out that metal armor! Recently, there’s been a few more revealing pictures for Man of Steel, but it’s been far too long since we got any new footage from the film.
And now, in the long standing tradition of DC viral marketing campaign, they released a static clip of Zod threatening the humans to present them with Kal-El, a former native of Krypton and our featured super hero. Continue Reading
When we think of fan trailers, we think of low budget corn ball productions with no vision at all. But this is not the case with this Wonder Woman fan trailer. The action is dynamic, the backdrop and the costumes look authentic, and the video shows a semblance of vision not really seen in amateur films. According to Latino Review, Christopher Nolan has been given full creative control over their Justice League franchise and WB wants the entire thing set in the same universe as “The Dark Knight” trilogy. Amy Adams was recently on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to talk about her role in The Master (which she got an Oscar nod for) and they move the discussion along to her playing Lois Lane in the upcoming Zack Snyder helmed Man of Steel. She talks about how much she wanted to be Lois Lane (not to play her character, but to actually BE her) ever since she’s been exposed to Richard Donnor’s Superman movies. Continue Reading
Everybody had their reservations about the new Justice League movie script being handled by an unproven scribe. Then today, it’s been reported by Badass Digest that Warner Brothers has tossed out the script that Will Beall (Gangster Squad) had written for the movie. Multiple sources (I hate saying that phrase) have confirmed that it was “terrible” and many are wondering whether there’s any hope of this film making it past pre-production. Continue Reading
So according to a report from Variety, the possibility of a “Justice League” movie will hinge on the big man’s success at the box office. While this is not surprising, I’m wondering if that means that they’ll forgo any ties to the team-up in “Man of Steel,” kind of like “The Avengers” initiative scene from the first Iron Man movie.
