Have you ever wondered, “Gee, what am I going to wear today?” Well, I suspect super heroes wonder the same thing every single moment. Marvel was kind of enough to raid Tony Stark’s closet and present us with some impressive attires you won’t find anywhere else. Each suit is custom tailored and come with very specific functions. It’s an old story we all know by heart. An eager creator makes one of the most adored cult hit show on television, gets shoveled to another network and sees his work get cancelled. Then said creator pitches multiple ideas to revive the show, but gets shot down by network execs. Years later, creator uses Kickstarter to generate funding from interested parties on-line to finally get the budget he needs for a movie version of the show. The conclusion is yet to come, but we all know how it ends… Continue Reading
It’s a wonder how Wolverine could keep coming back and entice us with his latest outing even with his recent string of bad films. It’s almost as if his healing factor is able to heal his rep every single time…but I believe that as fans of the wildly popular comic character, we just want him to finally get the film he deserves. It’s 2:20 a.m. on a Saturday night. Bryan Cranston walks out onto the studio parking lot, a steaming hot shower the only thing on his mind. He jangles a set of keys in his hands as he approaches a mini-van marked by “Breaking Bad” related decal decorating its frame. He then stops dead in his tracks, his keys falling on his leather boots as he realizes that something is amiss. Bryan picks up his keys and approaches his car. His shoulder bag is missing from the passenger’s seat and is replaced with a folded note. He opens the door and picks up the scrap of paper. He unfolds it and reads its content. Continue Reading
Does the suit make the man or does the man make the suit? Trick question: It is also the woman who too can make the suit.
Next question. Does the suit make Pepper Pots look fat? Nonsense: She looks fine with the suit on (possibly fills it much better than Tony Stark).
Anyway, here’s the new TV spot featuring Iron Pots, the new hero for our generation. Continue Reading
According to Moviepilot, it’s been confirmed that Alan Ritchson (star of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Smallville) will be acting alongside Megan Fox (April O’Neil) as Raphael, who is admittedly cool, but rude. Now, I don’t know if Alan (we play basketball together) is exactly qualified to play this role , seeing as how he’s long past the permitted age to play a teenager and would possibly reach Luke Perry level of incredulity. Vin Diesel is on a mission to bring back all his movie franchises from the depths of dead projects (not really, just xXx and Riddick and I’m not even sure he feels as strongly about xXx as he does Riddick). I’ll be the first to admit, I have never seen Pitch Dark (I’ve seen its lighter predecessor Pitch Perfect), but Chronicles of Riddick was a boring mess and it marked the first time I’ve actually fallen asleep in any theater. I hope this isn’t a repeat of that long forgotten sequel. Continue Reading
