Yet another “The Walking Dead” teaser graces us with its presence. Let’s not waste anymore time and check it out.
I’m liking where this is going. The Governor plants Andrea in the prison as his inside man, but I’m not sure to what end (except for the obvious end). Michonne knows that she’s been under Woodbury’s care so the group should be skeptical about her return. It appears that the tension between the two camp is causing Andrea to waver and she doesn’t seem to know where she belongs. But as it stands, she is in the position to do the most damage, no matter where here allegiance lies.
It also looks like Carl is overstepping his boundaries, questioning his dad’s every move when he hasn’t even gone through puberty yet. I guess that’s what I like about the boy though because at times, he seems to be the only one with his head on straight. Rick is also getting some heat from Hershel, the resident zombie bite survivor. He demands that Rick man up since he dared to declare that it was no longer a democracy. Now, whether this was to get Rick’s head back in the game, or if he was just voicing the group’s dissatisfaction with his leadership remains to be seen. It’s probably the former considering Hershel trusts the man, despite his tendency to answer phone calls in his head.
The teaser poster comes with the tagline, “An eye for an eye,” but could they possibly mean “An eye for a hand”? As we all know, Rick loses a hand at one point in the comics, not unlike Luke Skywalker. Or perhaps The Governor means to kill Carl because Rick’s people (well…Michonne) killed his already dead daughter? So many questions and only an uncertain future remains in our path as AMC made it clear that they’re in control of the story and no creator shall stand in their way.
