Remember when Charlie Sheen was on “Two and a Half Men”? I still do because I can’t picture that show without him, nor have I seen any episodes since his colorful departure from the show that riled the press for months. We all know the history between Charlie (we’re friends) and Chuck Lorre. They left on the worst of terms and there is probably no chance of them reconciling their relationship. Even Angus T. Jones is rumored to be bouncing after souring on the direction of the series. So if you continued to replace the actors of “Two and a Half Men” and scrapped whatever fond memories we had of it, would it still be the same series?
In any case, Charlie had this to say about “Two and a Half Men” on The Late Show with David Letterman.
Probably one of the most level-headed and entertaining interview I’ve seen from him…though it is not without a few cheap, yet hilarious jabs. Yes, he would like to return for the series finale, but that would require some soap-opera level writing maneuver to make it all happen since his character was unceremoniously killed off. But at this point in time, I think you have to do anything to get this guy back on the show if you want it to continue.
But if I was Chuck Lorre, I probably wouldn’t give him the time of day. You do not give into anyone who claims they have tiger blood running through their veins. That’s rule number one.
