2cool4podcast is partying in your pool, eating all your food! This time we talk about JGL’s directorial debut, Daniel’s fear of space, and that one Marvel show. Then we cap it all off by beating the proverbial “Walking Dead” horse.
Deadlinereported a few days ago that Guillermo Del Toro is working with HBO to concoct a show based on Monster, a manga written by one of the masters of suspense, Naoki Urasawa (2oth Century Boys, Billy Bat). This makes me a happy camper and if I was any happier, I’d be pitching a tent big enough for a summer camp. Guillermo (we’re bros) first took this project to New Line Cinema to adapt it as a movie, but the story proved to be too dense and complex to fit into a feature length film. Also, he’s working with Sherlock and Doctor Who scribe, Steven Thompson, in order to bring Urasawa’s vision to live action format. Continue Reading
So we should all know by now that Clark Gregg’s character, Agent Coulson, bit the proverbial dust in The Avengers. While not as explosive or block buster shattering as it was last year, we’re still getting a good solid crop of comic book adaptations coming out soon, starting with Iron Man 3. So which movie are you anticipating the most? Are you on board with Tony Stark and his legion of armors or are you excited for Superman’s second cinematic brawl against his fellow Kryptonian, Zod? Perhaps you’re itching for that ultra violent ass kicking that Kick-Ass 2 is sure to deliver or are you eagerly waiting for the Ernest-esque Wolverine’s vacation to Japan? What about a true sequel to Sin City that we’ve all been waiting for for the last decade? Are you excited for Thor and Loki’s team up in Thor: The Dark World more than Bruce Willis and John Malkovich’s team up in Red 2?
